The Liberty Banjo Company was only in business for a short time during the late 1920s, but during that time they produced some very high quality instruments. Very seldom is one offered for sale. I collected banjo ukes for many years, and am now starting to break up the collection. This one is in nice condition, but there is a very long crack down the side of the neck. It was that way when I purchased it, and obviously was repaired many years ago. It is solid and should never be a problem. The action is good; it still has the old strings on it as received by me.
