A vintage Banjolin mandolin.
i was informed by an ebay user that this is an Oscar Schmidt. The head design to me looks like a wurlitzer. The pot size is 10" The entire length is 23". I have no idea what the brand is. Maybe someone married a neck with a pot? There are inlays on the fretboard. It looks like someone tried to shim the neck? See photos. I would think this is from mid century or earlier. I got this with an entire collection I purchased. Sold as is. Needs strings. It has a calf skin head. No case will be wrapped and boxed well. Refund at end for any over charge on shipping.
Came from an old collection. I will be listing many.
