Here is an assemblage of four [4] Gibson Banjo Rims from the 1960’s and 1970’s.
1] Gibson RB-250 Mastertone rim, 1981, 5-Play Maple rim,
2-piece flange set-up [tube & plate]. The restraining lip that holds the tube in place
is loose and needs to be reglued.Original
2] Gibson RB-250 Mastertone Rim, later 1960’s, 1-piece flange set-up.
Original thin plywood rim in good condition
3] Gibson TB-100 banjo rim, about 1964, thin plywood rim [Walnut color], for 1-piece flange.
4] Gibson TB-100 banjo rim, late 1960’s, thin plywood rim [black], for 1-piece flange.
